Their bone in chicken is always juicy and well seasoned, we prefer it over the bucket place. Their chicken tenders in my opinion is far better than the place that gives you Texas toast. They seem to have juicier and better flavor. I still prefer the bone in chicken and it seems to me their chicken has more meat than others? Plus their sides seem to be larger and better flavor. Then again we've always ate here for many years so I may be partial :)
Fried chicken and the livers were great. Best beans and slaw. Drive thru goes quickly and employees are friendly and pleasant. Our favorite place when in town.
I stopped in a pinch having driven by it many many times. A friend told me it was one of their favorite places to get chicken and so I thought what the heck. I ordered the chicken tenders with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and I have to say the quality of the chicken was amazing and the breading was perfect! Not too much and not too little. I would definitely go back again and would have to say that I prefer it over KFC. If you're out in Newark give it a try!
